Re: [Harp-L] harp-l's yahoo group

Following up on fjm's post --
1) For anyone unaware of the Yahoo site, it's at
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/harp-l-archives
2) For anyone unaware that there's anything *but* a Yahoo site, the
"real" Harp-L archives can be found at http://harp-l.org/archives
3) Be aware that Yahoo's archive is pretty but shallow. It doesn't seem
to go further back than January 2005, and since Yahoo continually purges
the oldest list entries, as time goes on I expect the older months to
disappear from the archive as well. Harp-L's archive may never appear in
Web Beautiful, but it's forever. We have posts from the beginning in
1992. We do have gaps, but thanks to the foresight and generosity of a
number of subscribers, we're working to fill them. You'll be hearing
more about this.
4) There is a third archive, at harpamps.com, maintained through the
generosity of webmaster Keith Graham. At one time this was the only way
to search Harp-L. Many of the months not yet available on Harp-L are
available at this site.
Harp-L has been growing steadily over the last couple of years and at
this moment has 1,368 members. The archives will not be going hungry
anytime soon. Thank you for continuing to put treasures there.
